When you first set up your Meadow you'll pick a plan and activate a subscription. With it you get your phone number, data plan, and access to all the Meadow Cloud services. It's how we power your maps, photo storage, location sharing, and other essential features that keep your Meadow running.

The reason we need to charge for this is because we don't plan on ever making money by advertising to you.

There's 3 plans based on how much you use your Meadow: $15/month gets you 1GB of data, $25/month gets you 5GB, and $35 gets you an unlimited plan.

Most people don't go above 5GB.

When you start your subscription, we'll assign you a new phone number with the area code of the address you give us. That'll be your Meadow number (powered by T-Mobile) linked to your subscription. There's no long term plans or contracts or anything weird like that.

As long as you're subscribed, your number will be active. If you cancel, you've got 45 days to re-subscribe before your number gets recycled by T-Mobile.

AirPods, bluetooth headphones, and wired (USB-C) headphones all work with the Meadow! If you're looking to use your 3.5mm headphones, you'll need a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter.

The battery usually lasts for a full day of normal usage (maps, music, camera etc) with some juice to spare. But if you're going into the jungle for a few days, we recommend bringing a portable charger.

Right now, we're only certified for sale in the US so our eSIM is set up only to work on US towers. In the future we plan to offer travel eSIMs for our US customers, and get certified around the world for our friends abroad.

Every photo you take, workout you do, or note you record gets synced from your Meadow up to the cloud once you're on Wi-Fi. Just head to the Meadow site, sign in, and you'll be able to download all your new stuff in a few taps.

There isn't. We believe the more apps a device has, the more anxiety inducing and distracting it is. That doesn't mean that we won't add more functionality. We just plan to do it in a more integrated way that keeps things distraction-free rather than just slapping more and more apps onto the Meadow.

We're designing the Meadow to be used as a companion device so we've designed it to come with its own number out of the box and be super easy to set up.

You can download updates over Wi-Fi! We're gonna keep updating the Meadow super often as we make improvements, add features, and fix bugs. When you install an update your data on the Meadow stays intact, and it usually just takes 15 minutes or so.
